Comparison

bizzMate and HubSpot

HubSpot is a large, capable platform with a genuinely free tier. The question is not which product does more — it is whether you need what the extra costs you in complexity and eventual price. Here is how to tell.

Where HubSpot is strong

HubSpot is a good product.

If this is what you need, you should buy it. We would rather you found that out here than three months in.

  • A free tier that a very small team can genuinely run on.
  • Marketing, sales and service in one platform, with a large ecosystem around it.
  • An enormous amount of published training material and a large partner network.

Which one fits

It depends on the business you are running.

Not on which product has more features. These are the situations each one is genuinely better at.

Choose bizzMate if…

  • You want a CRM, not a marketing platform, and you would rather not pay for the half you do not use.
  • You want the price you see to be the price, in Australian dollars.
  • You are one to twenty people and nobody's job title contains the word "operations".
  • You want sales and customer support together without assembling it from separate hubs.

Consider HubSpot if…

  • Inbound marketing is central to how you grow — email campaigns, landing pages and attribution as a single system.
  • You expect to scale past a small team quickly and want one platform to grow into.
  • You want to start on a free tier and decide later.

A platform, or a product

HubSpot is assembled from hubs — marketing, sales, service and more — which is what makes it powerful and also what makes pricing it an exercise. The capability you want and the tier that contains it are often not the same conversation.

bizzMate is one product with three plans. Sales, support and AI are in all of them; plans differ by how much you can do, not by which parts you are allowed to open. That is a smaller promise, and it is easier to check we are keeping it.

Free tier, or free trial

HubSpot's pricing page states its free tools are free for up to two users, with no credit card. If a permanently free product is what you need, that is a real answer and we do not have one.

bizzMate has a free trial rather than a free tier: the full product for the trial period, no credit card, and a plan chosen before it ends. We would rather charge a small amount and support the product properly than run a free tier we would eventually have to restrict.

Where the complexity goes

Large platforms move complexity into configuration — properties, workflows, lifecycle stages, permissions. That is a good trade when somebody owns the system. It is a bad trade when the person configuring it is also the person doing the selling.

bizzMate is built on the assumption that nobody administers it. Three roles, sensible defaults, and setup measured in an afternoon. If you have an operations team who would enjoy configuring a platform, that is a genuine reason to look at HubSpot instead.

What we say about HubSpot, and where it came from.

We do not publish HubSpot's prices, plans or limits. They change, and a stale figure about somebody else's product is a misrepresentation rather than a typo. Everything we do state about them comes from their own pages, dated below.

For HubSpot’s current pricing, check their own pricing page. Ours is on our pricing page, in Australian dollars.

Frequently asked questions

HubSpot has a free tier. Why would I pay for bizzMate?
If the free tier does what you need, use it — that is the honest answer. People move when the free tier's limits start shaping how they work, and the next tier up turns out to be a bigger step than expected. bizzMate's position is a small, predictable price in Australian dollars for the whole product, including AI and customer support, rather than a free start with a larger decision later.
Is bizzMate cheaper than HubSpot?
We are not going to print their prices here, because they depend on tier, seat count, contact volume and billing term, and a stale figure on our site about their product is a misrepresentation. Our pricing is on our pricing page. Price both against what you would actually switch on.
Can I bring my HubSpot data across?
Contacts, organisations, leads and deals via CSV export and import, with column mapping and a preview before commit. There is no direct HubSpot connector. Marketing assets — email campaigns, landing pages, forms — have no equivalent in bizzMate and do not come across, because bizzMate is a CRM rather than a marketing platform.
